At V Eight, old Jensens are restored and revamped to include modern reliability, improved road handling and better gas mileage. Until now, these restyled Jensens were limited to the Interceptor S, which boasts 414 horsepower, independent rear suspension, ABS 6-pot racing brakes with vented disks and an all-new five-speed automatic gearbox.
Beginning in 2010, however, V Eight will reinvent the Jensen once more to create the Interceptor SX. This ultra-exclusive car will feature updated styling, an all-new interior and--brace yourselves--a 620 horsepower GM LS7 engine. Only 25 copies of the car will be made, and preorders are being taken now at the affordable and budget-friendly price of £145,000 (over $250K in today's US dollars).
