Morbid Illustrated Books

The Everyone Dies Book is Depressing With a Bit of Humor

The Everyone Dies- A Children's Book for Grown Ups by Ken Tanaka is colorfully illustrated, yet severely depressing.

In an effort to inform others about the inevitable loss of life. The book is bright and somewhat cheery in style, but the illustrations themselves just sadden the reader. The most depressing one in my opinion would be "Your pet cat won't be around forever" as Tanaka depicts a cat about to be hit by a truck.

The Everyone Dies book also has included a fun activity, in which the reader can check off if they know someone who died from certain fates, such as a helicopter crash, overdose, war, drowning and tigers. The Everyone Dies book has a bit of humor in addition to its depressing nature, but may be the perfect way to educate your child about death.
