Brevard County Uses the Eventbrite Platform for Vaccine Distribution

Florida's Brevard County is using the Eventbrite platform in order to help with the distribution process of the COVID-19 vaccine, where the platform helps manage scheduling.

The Health Department of Brevard County switched to the Eventbrite platform after a hotline was overwhelmed. Currently, individuals who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, including health care workers, long-term care residents, and individuals over 65, can schedule an appointment to get the vaccine on the platform.

The Health Department stated that using the platform was the simplest way to increase its vaccination efforts in a timely manner. The Health Department stated that it will continue to use the platform for future vaccine shipments and also will attempt to make the hotline operational again.
