Catherine Manuell Design Suitcases Use Art From Australian Aboriginal Artists

This vibrant collection of luggage features collector pieces with a conscience. Part of the Catherine Manuell Design 'Artist Project' range, the suitcases provide female artists in remote Australian aboriginal communities with a source of income while spreading the word about their body of work.

No two pieces are the same. The range shows how business, art and fashion can combine to assist in the appreciation and support of art. As part of the project, each artist is given a set of the luggage adorned with her work. The artists directly benefit from the production of every item made.
