Logotype-Centric Checker Shoes

Slam Jam & Vans Era Sneaker Model Boasts Designs by Fergus Purcell

Italian retail label Slam Jam works in collaboration with Vans once again on the signature Era sneaker -- the duo also channel the talents of Fergus Purcell to create some logotypes. The familiar silhouette takes on a new colorway inspired by Slam Jam, highlighting its signature hues of blue, cream, and red throughout the uppers in a checkered formation. Additionally, the uppers are constructed from a soft canvas material and feature white stitching details.

The spotlight hits the white midsoles, as it is elevated by the logotypes designed by Purcell in black for contrasting elements. The entire silhouette is rounded out with a rebellious print at the outsoles that reads "Stamp Out Mediocrity." The collaborative sneakers are set to drop online at Slam Jam on December 15th.
