Chicago's Elske Delivers a Delicious Aesthetically Pleasing Plates

'Elske' directly translates to 'love' in Danish and that was the highlight of the Elske restaurant in Chicago, started by David Posey. Chef Posey's Danish mother and Denmark travels inspired him to open up his own restaurant that captured the simplistic essence that it has to offer. He does so by incorporating a clean and minimal ambiance at the dining area, opening up a wide-open kitchen space on one side and a small patio on the other.

The main goal of the beautifully curated dining space is to capture a tasteful impression of a comfortable Scandinavian home. Some of the standout menu selections include 'roasted rabbit with pommes écrasée, grilled cabbage, and juniper,' and 'Confit king trumpets with pocha beans, artichokes, amaranth, and egg yolk jam.' Elske also hosts private events in its casual space, serving guests soulful modern eats.
