In a collaboration with the designer Falke Svatun, Bjørn van den Berg has designed an elegant floor lamp that is so slender it is barely visible.
Entitled 'Aerial,' the lamp is tall and very thin, making it a unique diversion from most floor lamps that tend to take up enough space that they are the first thing you see upon entering a room. This elegant floor lamp does just the opposite and its neutral gray, white or black colors make it easy to decorate with. The subtle lamp has a long, thin steel neck and a circular granite base that allows for the height of the lamp to be adjusted.
Because homeowners can adjust the lamp so it stands almost completely vertical, or they can lower it over work that they may be doing, this versatile lamp functions almost like a tall and elegant reading light for a sophisticated home interior.
