Italian film composer and inventor Claudio Capponi has designed this line of electric violins capable of connecting to your smartphone.
The 'Liutaly iV' stands out from other types of electric violins due to additional features and an embracement of technology. The violin comes equipped with a special built-in and patent-pending speaker system that actually amplifies the instrument's sound up to two times louder than a traditional acoustic violin. This violin is also capable of playing in four different modes including analog, electric, synth and electronic.
A built in smartphone dock lets users play with the specific sounds of the violin, and can even be used alongside a number of different mobile music apps to actually recreate the sound of entirely different instruments.
