Electric bike-share startup JUMP is teaming up with Uber to make bike-sharing more convenient. Uber Bike is a pilot program based in San Francisco for the moment. It will allow people to book JUMP e-bikes using the Uber app. Unlike ordering cars on Uber though, with Uber Bike you will be responsible for going to the bicycle's location and won't have it delivered to where you are.
With a goal of transforming cities, JUMP hopes this electric bike-share initiative will result in more people cycling. They are the only company licensed in San Fran to operate dock-less bicycle-sharing.
SF residents and riders can put their names down for the Uber Bike waitlist if they are interested.
