Edifier announced the 'S1000W' wireless bookshelf speakers at an MSRP of £399.99, or roughly $500 USD. These speakers offer high-resolution audio at a sample rate up to 192kHz. This is achieved from its 5.5" mid-range/bass and 1" treble drivers, which are also front-facing. The S1000W is essentially the same set of speakers as the S1000Mk2, but with the addition of wireless connectivity.
The Edifier S1000W is supported by a number of wireless ecosystems, including Apple Airplay, Spotify, Alexa, Amazon Echo, the Edifier Home, and more. This speaker is designed to seamlessly integrate itself into an existing smarthome ecosystem, rather than requiring one to be built around it.
Edifier also includes a remote control with the device that allows to user to control essential functions, such as volume, media playback, audio mode, and more.
