Rika Magazine’s new editorial ‘The Edge of Love,’ shot by Emily Hope, stars the elegant Keira Knightley as she poses amid gardens wearing simple, but beautiful summer garments. The intimacy of the photos are made possible by Knightley’s strong friendship with photographer Hope, and produce a breath-taking photo series full of vibrant colors, soft lighting and a brooding atmosphere.
The series was styled by Henry Thomas who used several big-name designers including Chanel and Nike. Knightley’s looks are fantastic and always seem to complement her backdrop. For instance, one photo has Knightley seated casually against a floral backdrop. In this photo, Thomas created an outfit using whites and pastels, perfectly enhancing the flowers behind the starlet.
‘The Edge of Love’ is a brilliant photo shoot for summer based not only on the outfits used, but on the palpable friendship between photo subject and photographer. With natural emotions and a relaxed atmosphere, this editorial is a joy to see.
