San Francisco Goes Green with EV Charging Stations

In its quest to be a force for ‘green,’ the City of San Francisco has installed three EV (electric vehicle) charging stations across the street from city hall. The project is in partnership with Zip Car and Car Share as part of a green showcase. The demonstration project is aimed at educating the public as well as supporting the technology.

San Francisco wants to lead the way to a cleaner environment. To that end, they continue to explore fuel alternatives as new alternatives come to market. Some have worked well, others have hit a dead end.
