Brazilian artisan Mana Bernandes makes the most amazing eco jewelry from PET bottles, the containers commonly used for beverages and water. She cuts them up and then groups them into necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
Her eco collection also includes colourful blue disc jewelry made from unwanted phone cards. Her button earrings were once elevator buttons. Also notable are her dramatic black and gold bobbypin and clear plastic utensil collar necklaces.
She is part of a design collective called Touch which is dedicated to environmentally-friendly, hand-made products.
