Waste-Free Clothing Cleaners

MyGreenFills Sells Zero Waste Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products

The founders of Selestial Soap created a new line of all-natural eco-friendly cleaning supplies for the laundry room called MyGreenFills, targeting consumers who want a truly clean way to wash their clothes. With a first order, MyGreenFill sends its consumers a container labeled: "The Last Jug You Will Ever Own," plus pouches made with a biodegradable rice paper that are filled with products like unscented laundry soaps, fabric softeners, stain removers and color brighteners. The idea is that this jug made from post-consumer resin and ocean waste plastic uses very little new materials as possible, so that overall waste is reduced as possible.

In the process of buying products to clean their houses, many consumers don't realize that they are actually dirtying the planet by cluttering landfills and oceans with containers that can't be recycled because of the leftover toxic products within. Annually, about a billion plastic laundry containers are discarded, but hopefully MyGreenFills will cut down on this number.
