The Easy Pod Washer is a portable pack of laundry detergent designed for travelers and those constantly on-the-go. The Easy Pod Washer is designed to look like the pods that hang from Honey Locusts (hence the name), and contain little balls of eco-friendly laundry detergent.
The detergent is designed to be broken down in water without releasing any harmful chemicals. Designers Yingying Zhou, Shijiao Li, and Sicheng Wang have even designed the packaging of the Easy Pod Washer to be biodegradable. Designing an eco-friendly way to do laundry on the road may not seem like it will save the world, but every design helps, no matter how small or large. Personally, I would like to see this design expanded for use at home. I never stopped to think about how harmful my laundry detergent actually was until I came across the Easy Pod Washer. Eco-friendly detergent for all, demand it.
