Improper Lighting Ads

VW's Dynamic Light Assist Ads Swap the Right Lights for the Wrong Ones

'Wrong Lights' is a humorous ad series for Volkswagen's Dynamic Light Assist that proves there's a proper light for every situation.

The ads replace the candles on a birthday cake, a dentist's overhead light and a romantic candlelit dinner with inappropriate lighting choices that couldn't be farther from the purpose that the proper light should be able to help with—the birthday boy is going to go blue in the face from trying to blow out those candles.

These comically presented situations pretty much say it all, but the printed advertisements are summed up with a tagline that demonstrates that you need "the right light for the right situation." The funny ads were created for Volkswagen by the DDB Tribal agency in Berlin, Germany.
