Duolingo's New Math Resource, 'Duolingo Math' Debuts on the App Store

Duolingo is introducing its new math app just months after launching an open beta on the App Store. ‘Duolingo Math’ is the first expansion of the Duolingo app that extends beyond language and literacy, bringing humorous notifications from Duo, the famous owl that can be seen on all of Duolingo’s branding elements. Users have the option to download either the brain training version for adults or the elementary version for children, the latter of which concentrates on fundamentals like multiplication and division.

While the app was originally built for children, Sammi Siegel, lead engineer at Duolingo, said that the team recently introduced the more difficult adult version of the app. "We’ve noticed in our metrics, [that] brain training is slowly starting to creep up over elementary, but I think it’s still a little too early to tell exactly where those trends are going to go," Siegel commented.

Duolingo Math is now available on the iOS store.
