The world's ocean is like a giant bathtub, the only missing from it is a giant duck, but that gap is being filled by this giant duck art installation by Florentijin Hofman.
The monstrous 'Rubber Duck' has traversed the waters of Hong Kong to Sydney providing unending joy to the civilians of those cities. The Godzilla-like duck is about 46 feet tall and 55 feet long and moves with the help of a tiny boat that's immensely smaller than the duck. According to the artist the Rubber Duck has no political intentions, doesn't discriminate and can relieve stress.
The Rubber Duck will make anyone smile. There's no deep philosophical meaning to the creation, it's just there to make people smile.
