The Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2012 Campaign is an Academic Parody

The DSquared2 Fall/Winter 2012 campaign showcases models Carola Remer and Daphne Groeneveld within the walls of a bright classroom. Yellow chairs with attached boards are used by the women here to feign an academic lesson in fashion, displaying some of the world’s most stylish faux students.

These advertisements for the Canadian couture label were taken by photography duo Mert & Marucs. The artists have been known for their productions of seductive, mesmerizing sets, and they have yet again pulled off their vision for this Fall/Winter 2012 line with attention to detail.

Horn rimmed lenses, military caps and dark furry sweaters offer an alternative take on scholastic apparel. And while some pupils choose to stick to the basics throughout the year, others will be pleased to break down ensemble barriers with these over the top DSquared2 looks.
