Pivoting Drive-Thru Canopies

OrderMatic's Drive-Thru Canopy Moves to Accommodate Tall Vehicles

OrderMatic recently introduced what it calls a "next-generation" drive-thru curved canopy for Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Stores that improves upon coverage, style, value and function for a more streamlined experience.

The pivoting canopy provides 50 square feet of coverage and LED-illuminated features, which are sheltered and illuminated for optimal visibility. The canopy has been designed to stand six feet over the drive-thru lane and boasts an adjustable spring-loaded drive shaft that rotates away from tall vehicles—once the oversized vehicle passes, the canopy resets itself and pivots back into place. As many consumers are looking for food- and drink-ordering experiences that are as seamless as possible, flexible structural solutions like this one help to ensure that those in large vehicles are not limited by signage that is fixed in place.
