C3 and Total Events Announce the Royalmount Drive-In Event Theatre

In Montreal, two event industry organizers have joined forces to bring a convertible drive-in theatre experience to the city. Opening on the first day of summer—June 21st—the Royalmount Drive-In Event Theatre promises to pave the way for the event industry post-COVID-19 lockdown measures.

The drive-in theatre is located off of Décarie and Highway 40. The collaborative project is hosting "movie nights, live bands, comedy shows, specialty screenings, graduations, televised or streamed live sporting events, corporate presentations and events, product launches, and other public gatherings."

The multi-purpose venue has been approved by provincial and local governments. Safety measures are in place, including window service for concessions, individual bathrooms with "a team on-site to disinfect facilities after each use," security that directs guests, and so on.

The Royalmount Drive-In Event Theatre will be capable of accommodating 250 cars at once.
