Domino's Pizza Canada Will Use 100% Canadian Dairy in Its Pizzas

Domino's Pizza Canada has teamed up with Dairy Farmers of Canada to implement an initiative that will see it use only 100% Canadian dairy products on all its pizzas and other menu offerings. The pizza chain, which has over 380 branches in Canada, is the first national pizza company in Canada to commit to using all-Canadian dairy products.

Domino's Pizza Canada says the decision is proof of its strong belief in using only the highest quality fresh, local products in its kitchens. "Domino's decision to only use cheese made from 100% Canadian milk is a natural one," said Michael Curran, head of Domino's Pizza Canada.

The announcement is set to have a major boost on the Canadian dairy industry, what with Domino's using nearly 5 million kg of cheese each year.
