IoT-Connected Delivery Trackers

Domino's and IFTTT Have Partnered for a More Connected Deliveries

Domino's and IFTTT have recently announced a partnership that will give the already technologically adept delivery pizza empire even more connectivity. With the new partnership, IoT devices in people's homes can be connected to the Domino's Tracker in order to automatically reduce any pain points in the delivery pizza experience.

For those unaware, IFTTT (which stands for If This Then That) is an IoT protocol that can activate functions in various devices based on the functions of other connected devices. In the case of Domino's and IFTTT, this means that every step in the Domino's Tracker (except for the 'Quality Check') is a trigger for various smart home devices. For example, the pre-set IFTTT commands integrated with the Domino's Tracker include things like turning on the porch lights when one's order is out for delivery at night, or emailing family or roommates when the order is in the oven.
