Dolls With Tattoos

I have only just started seeing dolls with tattoos and while they freak me out a little, they are also REALLY cool. Next I wouldn't be surprised if we begin seeing images of dolls tattooed on people!

The Tattoo Baby Doll Project is a collaboration between Sherri Wood and various female tattoo artists from across the US. The venture combines "embroidery and tattoo as a vehicle to explore the images and roles that define and empower women today." The dolls in this project have their tattoos applied using needlepoint.

Krypt Kids also has a few dolls with tattoos, the designs of which can be customized. These are applied to the dolls using ink or drawn on, which is the most common application for the tattoos on the dolls featured in the gallery above.
