Dog Hair Coats

Aki Inomata Switches Hair with Her Pet

Dog hair coats will soon be a new fashion if Aki Inomata's art piece catches on. The creative spent several years collecting hair from both herself and her pet in order to create coats for the both of them.

After much grooming and trimming (plus the effort that it took to put the coats together), the artist now has a coat for herself made from dog hair, as well as a smaller coat made up of her own hair for the pooch. Surprisingly the dog hair coat looks quite stylish and similar to something that most people would wear. The dog coat, however, does look different considering one isn't used to seeing a canine stroll by with human hair over its body. However, you never know if this new development might catch on as a bonding experience between owners and their pets. Photo Credits: designboom, aki-inomata
