Infected Passport Campaigns

The DKV Travel Health Insurance Ads Advocates Safe Vacationing

Summer season is here and that mean vacation time and oversea trips for many; therefore, I think that the DKV Travel Health Insurance ad campaign is especially important, even if you are not from Germany. It essentially advocates precautionary measures when it comes to traveling by purchasing travel insurance.

Conceived and executed by Frankfurt-based ad agency Ogilvy, the DKV Travel Health Insurance ad campaign shows three passports that have been contaminated with infectious diseases such as cholera, yellow fever and malaria. Instead of showing sick people in foreign countries, I like how they took a more neutral approach that really speaks to all travelers.

The DKV Travel Health Insurance ad campaign was creative and art directed by Simon Oppmann as well as copywritten by Peter Roemmelt.
