Luxe Leather-Obsessed Collections

The DKNY Fall 2012 Presentation Has a Chic New York City Feel

Legendary designer Donna Karan knows New York City, and judging by the DKNY Fall 2012 collection, she also knows her audience. What could be more appealing to a New Yorker than a line of chic, streamlined clothing? A collection of chic black leather pieces, of course. Thankfully, that's exactly what Ms. Karan delivered.

Leather came in every shape and form, from exquisite jackets and skirts to simple trims. Models wore slicked back, simple ponytails and barely there makeup to complete the city girl feel.

To keep the collection from being too edgy and dark, the DKNY Fall 2012 presentation also featured fun floral and animal prints, turtlenecks and flared skirts. Throw a leather jacket on top of any of those, and you are ready to take the city by storm.
