It's not every day you see a DIY kayak and it's an even rarer occurrence when you see a kayak made completely out of material you would find in your local office building. Kayaks are exceedingly difficult to make because they require not only the expertise, but the the kayaking know-how to allow for smooth rides over the water. With these needs having to be met, it can be intimidating to make the kayak out of anything but the classic material, however this kayak maker scorns that and creates an original piece.
For those that want to break free from their office lives there might be nothing more freeing than a kayak ride. Having your kayak made out of your desk and old suits would make that trip all the more enjoyable as well. That's exactly what Johntanta did and it's incredibly symbolic and fitting.
