Learn to Make Jewelry From Materials in Your Recycling Box

Here is a fun, eco-friendly DIY accessories project that will allow you to find a fresh new way of recycling as well as inject your wardrobe with vibrant, high-fashion accessories. The sunburst charm necklace uses recycled pieces of plastic to create daring, oversized accessories.

To create the DIY accessories you need about four different, empty, clean, colorful plastic containers (here they used turquoise, orange, white, and transparent blue), a 2 1/2" carabiner, scissors and a hole punch.  Adjust the material list as is suits you.  There are no rules when making these DIY accessories and any mistakes can just be tossed back in the recycle bin! This charm takes about a half hour to complete and requires no experience.
