The Divorce Hotel Helps Couples Dissolve Marriages

Unfortunately for some, dissolution of marriage is as unavoidable as sweat in summer, unless, of course, couples hide themselves in the shade of denial; the Divorce Hotel helps to clear the clouds by expediting the process more amicably and with less cost. Conceived by 33-year-old entrepreneur Jim Halfens hailing from the Netherlands, the Divorce Hotel allows the unhappily married to check in for three days. Over that short period, they meet with mediators and independent lawyers to come to an understanding.

Halfens is currently looking to expand the Divorce Hotel concept into the United States. He has already tested it on 17 couples, 16 of which walked away with a successful divorce. The Divorce Hotel may even become the subject of a reality TV show.
