Entitled "Ana", Dora Abodi's latest collection is a fresh take on space-age couture. Based in Milan, Italy, the designer is a graduate from the French Mod’art International Art and Fashion Academy and Domus Academy where she perfected her craft for construction.
Born in Transylvania to a family of fine artists, Dora Abodi experiments with the use of digitized prints and sculptural fabric appliques that transform her garments into wearable artworks.
Creating a fictional, female superhero the designer came up with the concept for her "Ana" collection. Her digitized prints, mixed textiles and structured silhouettes form a collection of robot-inspired styles that address women's need to look perfect. The designer's one-of-a-kind pieces mix metal hardwares with luxe materials like silks, jacquards and leathers.
