The International Anti-Fur Coalition is Entering the Metaverse

At the same time an increasing number of fashion brands renounce fur, cruelty-free digital fur fashion is being explored in the metaverse by the International Anti-Fur Coalition (IAFC.) Because this fur fashion only exists in virtual realms, it does not harm a single animal and it brings awareness to the millions of animals that are bred and killed annually for the fashion industry.

With digital agency Mobiquity and students from the University of Westminster, IAFC launched the UNFUR Fashion Collection. This five-piece collection recently made its debut at Europe’s largest metaverse festival, MET AMS. The five outfits have been minted as NFTs and they are available for purchase on Rarible, with proceeds going to support the anti-fur coalition and its cause.
