Miguel Chevalier Digital Abysses is Showing at a Submarine Base

Artist Miguel Chevalier is exploring the fragility of the eco-system with his new immersive exhibition entitled Digital Abysses.

The large and interactive experience covers over 3,500 sq.m at the Bordeaux Submarine Base in France. Individuals are invited to walk around and discover the 10 interactive installations that comprise the entire exhibit, each of which focuses on human relationships with nature, and the need to preserve underwater life. The exhibit consists largely of digitized renderings of sea life, like coral and other animals as well as dream-like simulations of underwater exploration.

The exhibition is dedicated to highlighting the importance of both visible and invisible life forms, and the importance of their existence.
