Technicolor Toy Car Installations

'Toy Atlas Rainbow' by David T. Waller is Playfully Colorful

Thanks to UK artist David T. Waller, mechanics and cars never looked this fun for the general public -- especially to a female. Titled 'Toy Atlas Rainbow,' this installation gives toy car collections a whole new meaning. This vibrant art piece is made of 2,500 old toy cars and consists of a circular, color-coordinated arrangement of miniature four-wheelers.

Using the colors of the rainbow as inspiration, Waller beautifully organized old toy cars, creating a spectacle for the eyes. Because of its colors and shape, this installation seems to be taken out from a Skittles' ad. Winner of the People’s Award at the Arts Depot Open in 2010, the artistic work by David T. Waller will make anyone fall in love with the magic world of toy cars.
