The Cube Tube is a stunning structure with a square block motif. Not only is it shaped like a giant cube, hence its name, it is patterned with square windows in varying sizes, giving it a Tetris-like appeal that is very futuristic.
Designed by Keiichiro Sako and Fujii Yoko of Sako Architects, a firm based in Tokyo, Japan, the Cube Tube was built in the Economic Development Zone of Jinhua, China. It was constructed using reinforced concrete construction, aluminum walls as well as a glass curtain wall. Despite its unique windows, which happen to let in a lot of natural light, the Cube Tube is overall minimalist. The stark white interior gives the structure an appeal that is both sterile and pristine.
