This Collection of Crystal and Copper Vessels is Crafty and Rich

Designing a collection that would look at home in an opulent and lavish Arabian gathering, this beautifully detailed collection of engraved crystal and copper vessels by Formafantasma is absolutely stunning.

The new collection of engraved crystal and copper vessels will be debuting at Milan Design Week 2014 and is designed to purify and serve water in a sophisticated setting. Developed by Formafantasma for Viennese company J.& L. Lobmeyr, this intricate collection turns the ritual of drinking water into a luxury.

The 'Still' collection is designed using crystal, copper and charcoal, which is supposed to improve the taste of tap water.

"The craftsmanship expressed in the engravings, the aerial proportions of the copper filters and their subtle religious references invite the user to handle the pieces carefully, thereby transforming these gestures into a daily ritual of water purification," says one of the designers from Formafantasma.
