The Cross Seating Design Lets Users Customize Their Seat

We already know the benefits of having reversible clothing, but who knew that a reversible stool and bench such as this Cross Seating series could come in handy as well? This unique concept allows the user to choose between a typical hard surface to sit on or a more comfy, furry one.

Designed by Daniel Martinez and Jérémy Murier for the Mas-Luxury Diploma at the Ecole Cantonale d'art de Lausanne in collaboration with Kopenhagen Fur, the Cross Seating design is made predominately out of ash wood with the use of mink fur on one side of the seat. Although the Cross Seating may not necessarily fly with PETA advocates (or any animal lovers), I have to admit that it does look very intriguing.

Simple and almost industrial, the sudden appearance of fur on the Cross Seating gives it a great luxurious feel.
