Robotic Aircraft Food Caterers

This Creative Restaurant Flies Your Dish Over Using a Flying Robot

This creative restaurant in London, England does not need to hire human waitresses. Instead, Yo! Sushi has some very non-traditional food servers on board—flying qudracopter robots called iTrays.

These iTrays can be controlled using an iPad. They glide through the air with your meals, quickly, efficiently and always catching attention of fascinated bypassers.

Even if you’re seated far from the kitchen, the iTray will find its way to you. Made of lightweight carbon fibre, the iTray has four rotors that can travel up to 25 miles per hour. If you’re looking for an exciting new restaurant experience, this place would be worth a drop-in. Watch your food take-off into the air towards your table—it’s definitely like something out of a sci-fi novel.
