Cotton candy often gets a bum wrap.
People think it’s just pure sugar- a gooey, luscious, tangled mess of colored candy that melt in your mouth and sticks to your fingers.
Well it is all that-- and more.
Researchers speculated that the microstrands of cotton candy may very well mimic what capillaries look like in our bodies. So they formed a mold and looked under a microscope and noticed a striking resemblance (see video).
