Smartphone-Linked Timepieces

The Cookoo Watch Connects to Devices as Extra Alert System

The Cookoo Watch improves on the concept set out by the Pebble e-Paper Watch. Like the Pebble Watch, it connects to smartphones (both iPhones and Androids) to provide a more convenient interaction. Although a slightly more low-key creation, the Cookoo Watch boasts Bluetooth 4.0 to ensure less battery drainage and does not require a regular charge.

Named after the cuckoo clocks that alerted people of the hour no matter where they were in a house, the Cookoo Watch does that with emails, tweets, texts and missed calls on phones. It also acts as a remote trigger for the phone's camera, one button check-in device and lost phone finder. It was conceived by Peter Hauser.
