Curtain-Inspired Range Hoods

The Sipario Cooker Hood Saves Space and Adds a Flowing Aesthetic

Designed by Ellen Bernhardt of Germany, the Sipario Cooker Hood is a high-end hood extractor that looks to add style yet remove unnecessary bulk.

Intended to be installed on the wall behind a range, the hood features an aesthetic that looks like the unit has been bent forward over the cooking surface. This is meant to be in likeness to a curtain as the word "sipario" translates from Italian to "curtains." This flowing nature adds character and charm without distracting from usage.

The Sipario Cooker Hood was created in collaboration between Bernhardt and Elica, and helps to also save space to make the most of small kitchens. Adding illumination in addition to smell and smoke extraction, the range hood is crafted from Cristalplant and offers a new take on a rather traditional kitchen appliance.
