Guerrilla Graffiti Footgear Campaigns

The Converse 'Just Add Color' Projects Keeps Things Bright

I am an extreme fan of the Chuck Taylor All Star series and duly appreciate the most recent efforts of the Converse Just Add Color campaign. This is a guerrilla graffiti-esque effort taken by the company in the cities of Germany, Austria and Switzerland to brighten up the streets with eye-pleasing splashes of color as a reminder of how Converse brought color not only to basketball players, but to a variety of groups including skateboarders, musicians and pretty much all creative people.

Using an extensive array of materials including paintball guns, the common brush, netted curtains, streamers and even confetti, the selected artists roamed the streets splattering Converse shoe designs all over walls and buildings, making sure to leave the tag line "Just Add Color" as well. The entire project is the perfect tribute to the wide-range success of Converse with the dual effort of keeping cities happy. Long live Converse!
