Designers Ahmet Yasir Karakus and Ahmet Ergun have debuted the first consumer-targeted CNC machine and the project is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter. Named Rownd CNC Lathe, the user-friendly product aims to make CNC technology more accessible and approachable. Unlike traditional industrial-sized machines, ROWND is small enough to sit on a tabletop, making it suitable for designers, small teams, hobbyists, and prototypes.

Ahmet Yasir Karakus and Ahmet Ergun ensure that the consumer-targeted CNC machine offers industrial-grade precision and versatility. The machine features a clear plastic hood for visibility during the machining process, and it supports a range of tool heads, including drilling/milling bits, routing bits, and laser engravers.
