Collapsible Electric Bikes

The 'A-Bike' is the World's Lightest and Most Compact Electric Bike

British inventor Clive Sinclair recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to produce the world’s lightest and most compact electric bike. Sinclair previously won praise for producing a foldable bicycle with an innovative A-shaped frame. Now the inventor wants to make an electric version of his original 'A-Bike.'

The new electric A-Bike will share the same A-shaped frame as the original, as well as its 13 centimeter wheels and distinctive fast-folding mechanism. The new bike will differ in that it will contain a small motor in the front wheel, which will begin working as soon as a user starts to pedal. The motor works through the use of smart sensors that can detect when the pedals are turning. As soon as you stop pedaling, the motor will automatically switch off.

Weighing only 12 kilograms in total, the A-Bike is the world's lightest electric bicycle. The A-Bike is also the most compact electric bike and can fold down into a tiny package in less than 10 seconds time. Its innovative features and collapsible design make this electric bike the perfect accessory for the urban commuter.
