Coeur de Neufchâtel-En-Bray is a soft-ripened cheese with origins that date back to 6th century France. Now, Trader Joe's has recruited an American cheesemaker to make to a modified version of the cheese. Trader Joe's Coeur de Neufchâtel-En-Bray cheese boasts a mild, yet tart flavor that is similar to cream cheese. Trader Joe's version also comes in a festive heart shape, "making it an ideal feature of a Valentine’s charcuterie board or romantic wine and cheese night."
