Some people prefer to live in a bubble--figuratively, at least--and now others can join them in a more literal sense with Cocoon 1. A piece of furniture that could either be viewed as futuristic or as an oversized toy, Cocoon 1 adds a playful and relaxing element to any space.
Conceived by Swiss design group Micasa Lab, Cocoon 1 is completely transparent and is filled with multi-colored cushions for creative comfort. A wonderful retreat inside and outside of the home, Cocoon 1 can even double as a fully functional kitchen, complete with running water and everything.
Although Cocoon 1 protects and secludes people from the outside world, its translucent nature still encourages them to appreciate what is going on outside.
