CMA Awards Red Carpet Fashion

Shiny, Colorful & Elegant Gowns

The 42nd annual Country Music Awards showcased colorful fashion choices from the likes of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, and the sparkling Dixie Chicks trio.

A few bold celebrities flaunted the shiny sequin trend (Taylor Swift in a sequin and crystal Kaufman Franco gown and the Dixie Chicks in only God knows what).

However, it was colorful gowns that dominated this CMA red carpet with Carrie Underwood going with a kenari yellow Roberto Cavalli gown, Miley Cyrus in a white Roberto Cavalli halter neck gown with a colourful floral, Jewel in a yale blue halter Roberto Cavalli, and Julianne Hough in bright pink.

But it was not all about colors. Black was well represented by Nicole Kidman in a black Jil Sander Spring 2009 piece, and Shania Twain in a black mini. Also, Reese Witherspoon looked Oscar red carpet good in an asymmetric black Marchsea Spring 2009 gown.
