Club CPG Launches NFT Platform Dedicated to Everyday Consumer Products

Digital company Club CPG has announced the launch of 'Crypto Packaged Goods,' an online NFT marketplace in which digital consumer products can be purchased and traded using Ethereum.

According to a recent press release, Club CPG has already minted 250 different NFTs, most of which resemble digital artworks. However, the difference is that Club CPG's digital collectibles are images of physical consumer packaged goods such as chocolate bars and bags of chips.

Interestingly, this one-of-kind platform is an entirely charitable initiative, with 100% of the proceeds going to Project Potluck, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping CPG startups owned by people of color. "People can buy into this project knowing that they’re going to get value immediately," said Club CPG's Co-Founder, Chris Cantino. This is because the platform allows for real-time trading, in which people can buy NFTs "make a little money off it and transfer ownership to the next person," explains Cantino.
