Epic Games will roll out cloud saves on to the Epic Games Store. However, initially, cloud saves will only be available for two games, which are 'Moonlighter' and 'This War of Mine,' which are both free games on the platform. Cloud saves would allow users to keep all of their save data across different devices, and it offers a more streamlined experience.
Epic Games will plan to add cloud saves to more of its games going forward. The Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeny has indicated that the company has to work out some of the features before the cloud saves get widespread adoption. This is due to the fact that adding cloud storage to a game is a manual process, where support has to be added to each game individually.
