‘Cloud Pink’ Simulates the Movement and Texture of Clouds

Korean creative agency Everyware has created an interactive cloud that allows visitors to touch them, feel them and even move the clouds with their hands. Called ‘Cloud Pink,’ the work is a screen that is placed on the ceiling, giving visitors a surreal, yet mesmerizing experience of what it likes to touch clouds with their own hands.

While most of us can only dream of sleeping on the warm, flurry blob of moisture in the sky, ‘Cloud Pink’ uses a combination of texture and technology to reproduce the swirling, serene images of the clouds floating around in front of a blue and pink sky backdrop.

A video showing a user interacting with the cloud first finds a ceiling engulfed in the white cloud, to which she pokes a hole through. She then moves on to swipe at a larger swatch of the fabric, before eventually parting the clouds in several different directions.
